Due to the amount of applications, we made the decision to increase the amount released to £2,170, our biggest release of funds to date.
A big thanks to everyone who participates in the Newmilns Lotto, without whom this would not have been possible and also to some recent lottery winners who have donated some or all of their winnings to the Community Fund.
The following Newmilns groups have been successful in their applications and have been awarded the amounts detailed below:
**£400 - Newmilns Primary and ECC Parent Council
towards purchase of a trampette
**£400 - 16th Ayrshire Scout Group (Newmilns)
towards their summer camp in Arran in August
**£300 - Newmilns Regeneration Association
towards the purchase of 152 Christmas selection boxes for Newmilns Primary and ECC
**£220 - Newmilns Snow And Sports Complex
towards the installation of community planters at the complex
**£250 - Townhead TARA
towards Christmas presents for the children at their community Christmas Party
**£300 - Gilfoot TARA Action Group
toward the cost of inflatables at their annual G In The Park event.
**£300 - Newmilns Food Hub
towards the purchase of food, fruit and vegetables
Thank you to everyone involved in the decision panel, and of course to our team who reconcile the monthly payments and carry out the monthly draws. We will be posting some pictures of the recipients soon so watch this space!
