We are extremely excited to announce our main prizes for the raffle at this years Newmilns Food Festival, generously donated by J H DONALD

We are looking for people to send in their signature recipe that could be published in our Newmilns Food Festival programme that will be seen by 3,000+ people!

Newmilns Easter Egg Hunt - Sunday 9th April, Lanfine Estate - in conjunction with Darvel Improvement Group - free to attend event.

Newmilns Christmas Fayre is on Sunday 11th December, 2pm-4pm in the Morton Hall

Today saw the official handover of keys from the last Postmaster, David Gulline, to Loudoun Valley Trust, who have agreed to lease the Post Office to Newmilns Regeneration Association

The Public Meeting for Newmilns Regeneration Association was held in the Morton Hall on Sunday 24th April and it went well, with a surprise announcement and an update on what we've been up to!

Organised by the Newmilns Regeneration Association and supported by local businesses, the Community Food Fund and Awards for All, this FREE to attend Food Festival will showcase the best of local food and drink. 

The NRA is delighted to announce Newmilns Christmas Fayre, Friday 4th December 6.00pm - a joint effort between Loudoun Church, Newmilns Community Council and Newmilns Regeneration Association.

Sample local food and drink in the Covered Marketplace, where you’ll find local producers selling the best of Ayrshire Food and Drink

Watch one of our Demonstrations and learn more about Food – demonstrations are still to be finalised but will cover fish, meat, cheese, cooking with every day and exotic ingredients

Enjoy the buzz of a great event in Newmilns and support NRA

Encourage your children or grandchildren to enter our Grand Cookery Competition – held in partnership with our local schools.

Have afternoon tea in the Tea Room – with home baking!

And we’ve even got our own Newmilns Bake Off! See which male NRA Committee Member can best please our Scottish Women’s Institute judge . . . with his classic Victoria Sponge.

We’re going to be making a lot of noise in the press, on social media and across the web about the Food Festival so you’ll see our cake logo everywhere. We’ll keep you updated as producers sign up, demonstrations are finalised and food prepared.

It’s going to be a fabulous event and we’d love to see you there. So bookmark the day in your diary and we’ll see you there. It’s on Saturday 17th September 2016 at Jamieson Park – doors open at 11.00am.
