We are looking for people to bring along their old photos, books and items of interest about Newmilns - or just to tell stories of days gone by to our committee members, so that we can get them documented. We can arrange for items to be photocopied or photographed and returned to you (we will give you a receipt for any items you leave with us).
We are collecting this sort of memorabilia to either add to our website, Facebook page or to display in our Heritage Centre that we are hoping to open in the next year or so. Invites were passed out at the Over 60's Concert last month, but the event is open to everyone of all ages.
Come along for a coffee, cake and share your memories. Memories are precious and it's great to hear everyone's stories about their past.
We are also hoping to show some old movies about Newmilns - come along and sample the home baking and enjoy!
